Hi everyone,

I was playing with the NAM mod and i have found it GREAT! However i am trying to accomplish something and have not been able to do it, hope you guys can guide me or telling me if what i want to do is even possible.

Basically, i would like to merge the end of a highway (2 lanes), with an adjancent one way road. Once the highway and the road become one, it should be a 4 lanes road and later a 5 lane where the fifth is a left turn lane.

You can see what i want to do here: http://g.co/maps/q8z82

"Gardiner Expy" becomes "Lakeshore Boulevard" at that point and there is no more highway.

I am atraching a image in case you have no access to Google Maps at all.

Sorry if i am not using the right terminology :) I am just starting to learn all the basics here.

Thanks in advance!

Alex

Well,... All I can say is that your setup is (almost completely) possible, provided you have the NWM installed.

The NWM has a few roads that are OWRs that are up to five lanes in width.

As for turn-lanes, that can't be done at the moment; There aren't any TuLEP pieces made for OWRs.

Yeah, i have played around with NWM, but can't seem to find the right connector to merge the Highway and the one way road.. any suggestion?

    Thanks!

OWR-2's can directly connect to MHW; There's no need for a ploppable transition.

I managed to create a very close approximation to your request. It doesn't have have as many lanes, but it would work well until (if) the NWM and RHW incorporate the puzzle pieces needed.

    Networks used:

    - RHW-4 (ground and elevated)

    - RHW 6S and 6C

    - TLA-7

    RHW pieces used:

    - RHW 6S to 6C transition

    - 6S A2 Ramps

    - RHW-4 to ERHW-4 transitions

    TuLEP pieces used:

    - AVE-6/TLA-7 A-TuLEPs

    - AVE-4/AVE-6 crossing

    Draggable components:

    - 6C to TLA-7 TuLEP transition

    -----

Something worth noting is the fact that there was an AVE-8 and TLA-9 in development (four lanes of traffic per direction), and had those been implemented, the entire crossing would be replicated completely.

Unfortunately, those were set aside because of how much work there already was at the time of development.

Thanks for summing all that up! I am eager to see the AVE-8 an d TLA-9 in a future release.
