Downloading issues...

Hi, before anyone starts telling me to read other threads, I have seen them and tried what they said to no avail.

Whenever I try to download anything, it just throws me the following message: an internal error has occurred.

Tried on Google Chrome and firefox. Didn't work.

There are still a few frogs in the new version. What files were you trying to download? If you post the URLs, I will try them.

Tried the first and last link, both downloaded successfully. Your firefox is most thoroughly out of date. Current version is 11.0 and the Chrome version I have access to is 18.0.1025 which seems OK, but I am not a fan of anything written by Google.

Each one of those is downloading fine for me, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Opera on OSX, and they also work for me on IE 8, 9/ 64-bit in Win7.

I dont' think the problem is with the site, unless someone else is having similar difficulties? :S

I've had no downloading difficulties using Chrome (version unknown, haven't checked version 18.0.1025...) and IE9. Haven't tried those specific files, though.

Doesn't work on Firefox 11.0 either.

The wierd thing is, the CIMExchange (which I think has a similar setup to yours), works perfectly fine for me. They used to have this issue as well but it is now fixed.

Some dependencies from Mods from the other two websites can only be found in Simtropolis and Simtropolis has a way larger variety that those two. Checked other forums with the same question, but those answers doesn't work too. Please help =(...

The first link is a forum post. The other two download for me without a problems. Firefox 11.0 on Ubuntu 11.04 with broadband connection.

More and more I am coming to believe that there is something amiss at your end. Is it Wifi?

Limskj... have you tried emptying your cache and clearing history? Have you tried a different computer in another location?

Hi A Nonny Nose, I checked of the list of banned websites in Singapore, apparently all Singapore bans are some pornographic websites and 1 website that incites hate against a religion.
