dark lines between cities after rendering a map

Hello,

I tried to render some of the maps in the STEX thing. I downloaded config.bmp files and then used ctrl alt shift r to render the maps. All goes well until the region is finished and there are dark patches between the cities. They run from east to west over all the borders. What is the problem?

This is something that commonly happens to large city tiles when rendering maps at high resolutions. You can try lowering your resolution to something lower than 1600 x 1200, then enter and re-save each affected city. You could also re-render the map at a lower resolution.

Just to note, this is simply a graphical effect. If you enter the cities, everything will appear and function normally.
