Downloading Problem

Hi!

I was downloading stuff at ST/Exchange and suddenly i got the error 'You may not download any more files until your other downloads are complete'.

It's weird because i am not downloading anything (My previous downloads are all done).

I've restarted my modem and laptop, also waited for like 40 minutes, didn't help.

I'm downloading using Internet Download Manager (Thought that may cause the problem..).

I've been lurking in Simtropolis for quite a long time and this is my first time encountering this problem.

It fixed itself, i didn't do anything.

I waited a day and voila, somehow i'm able to download again.

Well, I hope it was a fix to the software. This has been hanging around for quite a while.

I just got the same problem too after downloading several files. Already wait for 2 hours, restart my laptop, but the error message still shows up. Hopefully they can fix it soon.

Is there a limit on the number of files you can download per day? Perhaps that is why it fixed itself the next day.

I don't think there is a limit, but remember you have to test each of those one at a time in the game with the rest of your suite, so take the rest of the day and do this. Shot-gunning plugins is one of the greatest causes of trouble we have.
