Hello, I am new here, I am looking for ideas about how to change interstae types in the game. Going from land interstates to elevated interstate sections between the regions, and maybe within the city themselves. Is there a way? Please help. Thank you.

Thank you. That helps, Can you do the same thing with the railroads? I know they can go underground, and is there still a subway station? It just seems like everything just has to be seperated, like there cannot be any crossovers except the roads. It is messing with my layouts and how I want them

There are two types of rail. Heavy rail is pretty much surface only. Light rail can be Elevated Rail, Ground Light Rail, and/or Subway. You need the Network Addon Mod for Ground Light Rail, and some stations and transitions from the STEX. The Elevated Rail to Subway link is default in the game. Look in your miscellaneous transport menu. You can get improvement for subway/bus stops by using the Road Top Mass Transit mod. For the NAM and RTMT look at https://community.simtropolis.com/forum/30-modding-transit-networks/

The NAM also has raised (viaduct) heavy rail and underground heavy rail (not subways, but rail that runs underground and shows up as heavy rail when you use route query). The underground rail however only have tiles for things like parks, plazas, and crossing under road tiles. There aren't any dedicated stations I know of, but regular rail stations function normally when you place them next to the underground rail.
