Why block buildings?

I was looking through miscellaneous mods and came across mods such as BSC No Maxis that seem to get rid of buildings in the game. Is that really what they do? If so, why would that be helpful, and where would I be able to get other buildings? Thanks.

Some people don't like the Maxis buildings and these mods cater to those people. I personally hate the Maxis Farms for example, so I have a mod which prevents them from growing, allowing the custom farms I have with more diverse crops than the dirt farm and the bland orchards to grow.

As for alternative buildings, any custom growable building will add to the pool.

because some maxis buildings dont have modding atributes ( demand, spend and income, capacity ... )

you can use for estetic too, anyone like maxis farms for example !

Do custom packs of buildings have any better stats or are they usually just aesthetic changes?

When used with CAM, will Maxis buildings not be able to reach their full potential, and so require another mod?

Which custom packs should I get?
