Kernel Panics on MAC

I have been playing Sim City 4 Rush Hour on my Macbook pro 2gb 667mhz, did not any issues at first, but I have been suddenly starting to have kernel panics on my mac. At one time I ejected the disk and they seemed to go away, but just a couple of days, I had another one, this time, even ejecting the disc caused the MAC to completely freeze. I am not sure if it also has to do with the amount of plug ins I have been installing also. Anyone else has had any similar experiences???

Ended up taking my macbook pro to apple. Turns out the NVIDIA card was bad, they had to replace it, but they also told me that I may have pushed the limits of what the card could could handle by playing my game. I tend to think it may had something to do with the game, since, it is the first game I ever installed on my computer and the issues only began once I started playing the game. Anyone interested in buying my SIM CITY Rush Hour game, its up for sale....sad that I can't get to play this game...

Thats quite strange, I was pondering your post for a while, but couldn't come up with an answer. Would never have thought of graphics card problems. What card do you have?

Instead of just replacing, see if they can upgrade it, that way you can still run SC4! :D

Wait, MacBook Pro or PowerBook? The PowerBook I can see. I had a PowerBook 667 DVI and was pushing it to the max. You can easily get a newer PowerBook for not a lot of money. If you are actually using a MacBook Pro, then it is complete bunk, as the graphics cards, even the Intel ones, can more than handle the graphics requirements of SC4.
