Guys.

I play SimCity ha over 20 years. That's right, 20 years. And, I need the yours help. My game was purchased on the EA site and access through the site of Origin. Anyway, what happens is: I can get into the game and see my entire region. However, when I choose a city to play, I can't sign in. Happen error and the program exits the game. I tried to access various cities and happens the same problem. Someone has some idea of what might be occurring? and how to solve? I thought to reinstall the game, but I am afraid of losing my region, which already has more than 2 million inhabitants.

I Look Forward To.

Because you downloaded your game, it should be patched, so this isn't the problem.

If you have downloaded anything recently, try removing it. Problems such as this are often caused by conflicting plugins.

You can also insert the following parameters at the end of your SC4 shortcut target:

-eh:off

-CPUCount:1

-intro:off

Remember to put spaces in between each of these.

I think your problem is that the forever damned snooping vendors like Origin (EA) and Steam want you to be on-line when you play so they can collect stuff that is none of their business.

If you are on a laptop that is not always connected to the net, this may be your problem. If you dig around, you should be able to find an "off-line" mode.

You have a good point. But I run SC4 on my newer laptop using origin and it works fine online and offline. Then a few weeks ago, I got some kind of error message and couldn't access origin. So I tried searching my start menu (Windows 7) and found Simcity 4. So I ran it without actually having to be signed in on Origin.

I understand nothing of programming. How can I do this that you recommended me?

Each option is like a new word on the command line in the shortcut target. Because the pathname of the program has spaces in it, it is enclosed in quotes, so after the final quote, leave a space, put in the first option leave a space and so on. Example:

    "C:/Program Files/Maxis/SimCity 4 Deluxe/Apps/SimCity 4.exe" -intro:off -CustomResolution:enabled -r1920x1080x32 -d:software

Sorry about the type size, but I hope the line above is on one line.
