Need Help

I put my downloads from ST EXchange in my plugins folder for Simcity 4 Deluxe but it fails to show up on the game, any suggestions?

Also i have tried putting the downloads in the the download folder in the Regions folder and did not work, but that is for lot downloads not for BAT Downloads .

Lastly i did try to solve my problem by looking at the help files, but did not find anything suiting my situation...

The Downloads folder in the Regions folder is not for custom content. It is a location that can be used for importing cities into regions and has nothing to do with what appeas in the game. The most common location for plugins is the C:\Documents and Settings\User\My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins folder (for Xp).

As for why you're not seeing things in the game, there could be a couple things to check. Are you unzipping the download files? The content on most sites is in zipped folders and placing these folders themselves into the Plugins will not work. The contents must extracted before it can be use. Another thing to be sure to understand is that not everything will appear in the menus of the game. Several items are made to be "growables" and will only appear when conditions are acceptable.
