NATURE'S FURY

THE LAST FIRE

 

Well as we all know, this journal is close to an end. Today is the last day in which I'll be updating Nature's Fury as the disasters are finally over. And the city destroyed by the fury of nature. But there are still some remain pictures of the last fire which had occured due to lightning strikes outside the city. In this very small update we will take a look at the last fire.

 

Well the lightning strikes had calmed down, but lightning is always the recipe for fire. The lightning strikes had caused an extensive forest fire. Here is the picture of this fire.

 

 

Of course all these trees depicted here had burned.

NATURE'S FURY

THE IMAGES OF DESTRUCTION

 

 

After constant bombardment of nature's most powerful forces the city had ceased to exist. The city is destroyed and Commercial Venture no longer exists. In this update, we will take a look at the pictures of destruction.

 

Mother Nature has shown her power and destruction to Commercial Venture. Lets take a look at all the destruction pictures.

 

 

This shot was taken after the First and Main Fire Outbreaks

 

 

This is a daytime shot of the dead city. All the streets have been removed, and the highway has been reconstructed, made into a  now ground highway. Rather than the elevated highway from before. You can also see the volcanoes as well. Only About 7 Buildings stand and have survived the fury the others were either incinerated, electracuted, or blown away by Mother Nature. This was a terrible disaster.

 

 

This is a view of the abandoned city. The upper part has the most damage. This was taken after the first fire.

 

 

This was the former area where the Pedriana Pharmaceauticals used to be. It was the tallest building in Commercial Venture, that couldn't stand unfortunately due to the outrageous fires.

 

 

This was taken after the volcano had erupted in Midtown.

THE MEMORIAL

 

 

After every disaster, there must be a memorial or it would be unethical. In this update we will take a look at the Commercial Venture Memorial.

 

Well, now that the storms are over. And the city is now destroyed, it's time to plan a new memorial. The former mayor and mayors of the other neighboring cities had decided on one thing. Why not keep the disaster area as it is? They even held votes and The Commercial Venturans voted this. The disaster area wasn't cleaned up and never will be. The disaster area will remain the same for all eternity and that will be the memorial. Roads have been demolished and streets have been placed. And The Commercial Venture Memorial has been formed.

NATURE'S FURY

THE NEW CITY

 

 

 

Many of you must be thinking, What New City?, I thought it was destroyed!!? Well in this final update of this city journal we will take an extensive look at the new city. First read the story.

 

As we all know, Commercial Venture was destroyed by a series of natural disasters triggered by 2 volcanoes. Now. It has been 30 years since the city has been destroyed. But what about if there was a Renaissance? This is what the 3 Mayors of The Maxis Region had thought about. It was about to begin. The three mayors proposed a plan to re-develop the city again. Yes again. This is why. Depite the Volcanoes, the city will be better prepared. After the eruption back in 2176, the volcanoes haven't erupted since. They were considered active, but moderately dormant. This means that they may erupt, but with warning this time. The new buildings were constructed so that they can withstand the earthquakes and volcanoes. This was called Operation L.A.. Because in Los Angeles many of it's buildings can withstand great deal amounts of earthquakes even on a 7.0 on the Charles Richter scale.

 

Terrain crews have taken part in the job to completely restructure the city. Each working at different shifts. The city couldn't be relocated anywhere else but there. The crews reconstructed MR 50, The made the highway ground instead of the previous elevated. They also constructed a tunnel so that it could go under the memorial. Cross the man made river to the new city area. This was hard work. Costing at near total of 6 Trillion Simoleons about 24 Trillion U.S. Dollars. But They got the aid from the rest of the world, because the disaster had hit world news. And even people around the world were effected by this tragic disaster. After 10 Years of quick and swift man made terraforming and leveling. The city had been finished and ready to be built. There was only 5 Million Simoleons left. For the new city. Which was more than enough for any city in the world.

 

The New City was named New Commercial Venture or Commercial Venture II. Named was voted by the Centropolians, the residential city bordering Former Commercial Venture. Commercial Venture II was established in July 10th, 2185 and massive fireworks and celebrations had taken place. This day was devoted into remembering the disasters that hit Commercial Venture and the Start of the new city. The day is called, Restablish Day. The day in which Commercial Venture II had been restablished. This day is a national holiday, which means that only those that live in SimNation celebrate this holiday.

 

After a long time of rebuilding, people of Channel 1 News had devoted their time to take pictures and report about Commercial Venture II. Thanks goes to Channel 1 News for providing us with these pictures. Many Venturans know that their former city will never be restored and be the same way in which it was before. It's widely known to them that Commercial Venture II is beautiful but not as dense as it was expected to be. That is all. Let's take a look at Commercial Venture II. BTW, remember where all the Tornadoes and Forestfires and the Lightning was on the last page. The city was built in the exterior portion of the city.

As you can see, The New Commercial Venture isn't as dense as the previous one. Let's continue...

 

The Volcano that wreaked havoc and caused the destruction has been respected.  It has been given it's own park and reserve. If it were to erupt again, this shouldn't catch anyone by surprise.

This is the new redesigned Utility Area. Known as Old Oil Power Because this is the exact same placed where the old oil plant used to be. Destroyed by a lightning strike very earlier in this journal.

And Last but certainly not least, A new era begins. The Old Commercial Venture is to the left and The New Commercial Venture is to the right. The rebirth has occured. Welcome back Commercial Venture!! Commercial Venture has made it through these tough times and pulled along for a long time. Even though the first city was destroyed, we hope to see that this city will live a longer life than it's predecessor did.
