So I am trying to register at Simcity Polska and i don't know any Polish .....lol so if anyone can give me any aid in translation please do so

You don't need this. It's for a Yahoo Messenger ID.

Somewhere on the registration page should be a place for your email address. I can't remember for sure, but the site may send a confirmation email before your account becomes active.

Also, is there a section to enter a string of numbers/letters to verify you're a "real person"? You'll need to do that.

YEs i need help with the captchas at the end, there is the part where you enter the letters, then there is one more box, using google translate it says "what year did the game start" ??? not sure if this is true or not

edit...it may just be asking a random question......i used translate again this time it was asking who manufactured the game ? i put in maxis and then EA, none of them worked

Keep refreshing the page with google translator and maybe an answer you know will pop up. Also give the answer "Will Wright" a try.

I'm also having problems registering with this site especially the captions at the end which ask what year the game starts, does sim city have successors and who manufactures the game - i've tried all the possible answers from Maxis Ea games to cities Xl please can someone suggest anything else

sim city is a very old game. The origial came out either before or after i got married in 1990... I had gotton a copy from friends.

Then there was simcity 2000 and onward.

I used to have every version of simcity ever made at one time.

Not sure if any of this helps.

Is this a first of SC Serial with yellow, blue and red tiles - may be I remember this ... with a tremendous Computer by Russians with a SONY ( from Russia - this is MK-60 Cassette Tape looks like a linen rope , never any China in 1989 ... ) Cassette Tape in brains ...

Thanks Silur but still no joy beyond answering the caption question. When i click the register button, the site keeps telling me that i have answered incorrectly to the question and that i've typed the letters wrong- do i need to answer in Polish. Only interested in this site because im looking for Saturn Prop Pack., Small Coalpile, Pit Head Frame & AC Saturn Coal Power plant - all of which are listed in the industrial section of Sim City Polska , the only problem being is that i'm finding it very difficult to register. Tried a dozen answers to the caption questions but without luck

I can't remember my Polish anymore. If you can find the Polish words then you could try that. A proper name I don't think would be in Polish.

Thanks for you help Ariana - finally managed to get registered. The answer to the question "what year did the game begin?" i typed 2000 and everything seemed to fall into place after that but thanks for your help !

They must have been looking for the windows version of the game. The one released in 1989 was a DOS. Version. I actually kinda miss that one. 2000 must have been the next release which was for the windows 95 and up version. I had them all at one point.

The thing is, thanks to the language difference, what you're being asked in reality is 'When does the game start?' It took me a while to register as well, mainly because of that one sticking point. My solution, as I'm a curious and analytical type...launch the game, create a new city and look at the starting date. Guess what? That's where the answer laid and it is indeed '2000'. And that solved my registration hangup.

And everyone who suggested so is correct...either use Google Translate or D/L & install Google Chrome and run it as an alternate browser. It'll automatically ask if you want to translate as well as giving you the option to translate in the future (no more needing to click on the 'Translate' button). And then you can hit up all of those Asian sites as well.
