AC Mega Props Vol5 Problem

hey folks,

I'm having problems with AC_Mega_Props_Vol5 from the LEX. Just to clarify, this is a dependencie. Not an actual building or lot. I've installed this into My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins\AC Team derectory. Is this the derectory its supposed to go in?

Yes, this is a dependency pack and no lots are included. You need this to see certain props on certain lots. The directory they're in is just perfect.

With this you can also make your own lots with the LotEditor.

Arent there any other addons I possibly need to make these lots work. This is a new machine I'm using and it worked on my other machine perfectly. I don't know what else to do.

What is it you're trying to do, and what specifically isn't working? The pack you mentioned are props. They won't "do" anything. Are you trying to use them in Lot Editor, or are the props not appearing on lots in the game?

what i'm trying to say is the lots aren't appering in the game at all. they are supposed to show up in the airports menu. Everything else shows up in that menu but not these particular lots.

There are no lots in AC_Mega_Props_Vol5 and will not provide anything that appears in the game's menus. It is a dependency for something else. What type of lots are you expecting to see - terminals, gates and planes...? Perhaps this set or this one?

I'm trying to see gates and planes on a peice of tarmac. they are supposed to be 737's.

I suppose you don't know what PROPS and LOTS are, right?

So, here is a small explanation.

LOTS can be plopped ingame or be grown. On the LOTs you have PROPS, which can either be the buildings and/or parts of the things that appear on the lot.

What you have is a PROPpack, nothing but PROPS, which you cannot plop, nor find in any menu ingame, but....you need the lots that have PROPs to see what they are.

Props can be also found in the LotEditor where you can make your own LOTS.

So, while you have only rhe PROPS in your Plugindfolder, you cannot expect to find them in the game without having the LOTS. Find the LOTS, download and install them the Pluginsfolder and you will be able to plop them in the game.
