game will not start after custom content

hello,

i am incountering a problem that is like this. Every time try to start up my game, it loads the spalsh screen and doesn't load at all. I just recently installed a plugin and from what i downloaded, it needed two depedency files, of which i also downloaded. However , the game dose not start at all since downloading this, and removing this out of the folder does not do anything because it still refuses to load up. So my question is this, what could be cauding the interference and how can i fix. Thanks and much apperciated.

Hmmm. Could be a number of things. If you have removed the new plugins completely then let's see what it could be.

The game will not load if there is anything wrong with your sound system.

Ditto the 3D graphics accelerator.

Do you get any image at all after the splash screen?

Please describe your machine. We can't really shoot at this without some more information. What operating system are you using?

Also, what version of SC4 have you got? Navigate to C:\Program Files\...\SimCity 4\Apps and hover over the file SimCity 4.exe. Report the version number.
