"I say, those are some splendid houses we built"

"The industrial area is moving along nicely"

"We need food"

"Well, there is a lettuce farm over there"

And a cattle farm

And a lemon one

An overlook of the center of town

As they drift off to sleep

Word got back to Farring Point (The city counsel had just named the town)

The next day the military show up. And built a local pier.

"There goes the neighborhood"

"Lets spruce up the place"

In a class room in the present time. A teacher and her class of kindergarten aged kids are interacting in an American custom of show and tell. "Now children, who wants to go first and show us where you live?"

"I will." said little Julie. "I live in that big house on that big farm.

Ken added. "I live with my parents in that house right by the basketball court. I am not sure what those funny looking trees in different colors are. But they scare me."

Cindy decided to go next. "I live in that brown house. My trees are nicer than yours." Cindy sticks out her tongue at Ken.

Billy was last. "I got you all beat, I live in that run down shack by the railroad tracks. So there."

The teacher concluded. "Thank you all for your contributions. Next time children I expect more participation."

The bell rings and the children run out and join there families.

In a playground during the present time, three kids were having the classic argument of whose father was better than the others.

"My father is better than yours" said Tommy.

"No, mine is" Kate retorted.

"I have you both beat" Daniel exclaimed!

"Now children. Why don't you come into the classroom and we can settle this little disagreement."

"Alright" all three responded.

Tommy "My dad works near the new canal in this little building."

Kate added "My dad works on those big cranes."

Daniel said "There is my dad's office right there in that trailer."

"Children, you all should be proud of your fathers. They are hard at work helping the town to build that new canal."

A place not far away

She wakes up and wonders where this place is.

A group of teenage boys were hang around the local watering hole when the discussion turned some adventure.

"We need some excitement" said Biff.

"I know what you mean" added Jake.

"I am so bored" exclaimed Homer.

"How about a road trip?" Cy said.

"Yeah, road trip" Biff was getting excited.

"Where?"

"Here!" Cy pointed to a town on the map a short 40 miles away.

"Elizabethberg it is" Homer confirmed.

The boys met on the corner

A short time later they stopped at the mayors house.

They passed Old Lady Julia's Farm.

And finally the boys came to their destination.

Biff opens a local newspaper. "Lets go to this place and watch a local softball team break a record?"

Homer said "Sounds like a plan."

"I want pie" Jake said.

"I want to realize my pitching dreams" added Cy.

The boys had a spectacular time and stopped off for a little fun.

Good and intriguing start. I guess this is just another 'to be continued'.

Great rural views (natural parks, and seasonal trees are awesome) and I enjoyed the rural and dusty roads.

Nice and good pics as well. So... when comes the next post? I can't wait.
