I managed to import a couple of .3ds cars into the scene and now type-x racing stocks the highest quality automobiles

There may also be a showcar outside, i think nightlighting will look pretty cool in this shop in the end.

Updated pics:

Nightlights didn't turn out all that well. All shops on the bottom have them, Dev-mart has purple lights which cast funny shadows on the side wall, but i think intensity needs to be increased, or to use a different colour. Kit n guppy's vets also has lights, but do not shint through the windows very well, i think opacity needs to be decreased, you can see where the light comes out on the floor in front.  Blackbeards also has a soft light, the shadowy thing in front is a jewellery cabinet, its textured but doesnt show very well as the light is behind. Within the actual mall I am not sure about nightlighting yet, as i've experimented a bit and it makes a lot of funny shadows due to the framework. I may use spots coming down from above.

 

Seats and food shops have been added on the balconies. They will look a lot nicer when i put some trees and shrubs in. I have a feeling Type-X Racing needs a better font than what it has at moment and also something added to it as it is one of the main eye catchers of the mall, I'm thinking of maybe adding a fountain in front, or a showcase car and fountains outside the shops to the sides. Still needing feedback and suggestions....

Wow havoc, this looks even better than before.

 

I think that a showcar in front of type-x racing would be really rad. Maybe, could you release some new things for the set? (Other than the mall)

 

Maybe some other buildings, so that more people can have shops, a fountain plaza, or maybe even a small row of residential townhouses! (Non-functional or growable of course...)

 

Sorry if that was weird.  I have too many ideas...

For those small towns that don't usually have underground parking.

There are shops round the back, the same number as front, but have not been filled. I didn't think people would be wanting these stores as noone will usually see them, and they wont be as detailed, as i'm trying to keep objects and poly's low. But people can have simple shops round the back.

Maybe round the back the front is full, construction has been a bit slow lately as i have to study for my last exam on Monday. So construction should continue as normal afterwards.

I've just come back from my Advanced Higher Computing exam, which was my last exam!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No more skool!!!!!!!!!!! Well i got Uni in the autumn, computer games technology, Great course

 

Anyway i have like 4 months holidays, which i will have a lot of spare time during late, late nights to BAT so expect more from the mall very soon and a lot more BATing from me.

 

To anyone whos just finished their exams as well HAVE A GOOD TIME!!!!!!!!!!!! i will certainly be partying for a few weeks.
