    Question 63.

The windiest city in the United States is located in this state. Past presidents from here include Dwight D. Eisenhower. Also the state's weirdest abolished law was that you couldn't serve ice cream on top of chery pie! Also, the state won the Most Beautiful License Plate for a State award in the 1980s. What state is this?

I hate to break your heart minimark, but the question is for the cities in increasing order (either that or I'm making a terribly embarrassing mistake)...So, without further ado, the ten largest cities in increasing order are:

    1. Detroit, MI
    2. San Antonio, TX
    3. Dallas, TX
    4. San Diego, CA
    5. Phoenix, AZ
    6. Philadelphia, PA
    7. Houston, TX
    8. Chicago, IL
    9. Los Angeles, CA
    10. New York City, NY

    The industries:
New York City: Commerce and other finance related things
    Los Angeles: Entertainment
    Houston: Energy (Petroleum etc.)
Phoenix: Believe it or not, aerospace engineering (check it)

Yes now i realize that he wants them in increasing order. Mind you i havent had too much sleep in the past couple days. But mind you when i think of increasing order i think of 1, 2, 3, 4 etc as decreasing your stepping down from the number 10. 9, 8, 7.

Thats my 2 cents. Either way we can always split the 5 pts if needed 2.gif

Yup, thats true. He didn't state whether he wanted the cities or the number for the city in decreasing order. Tricky question...kind of like those AP exams (15.gifGRR). I guess maybe well split! 39.gif

Yeah I would have answered this too,but I was confused and didn't want to screw up and get laughed at....

Also alot of aerospace engineering occurs here in L.A. and alot of it happens in the neighboring city of Pasadena....

Poops2u and Minimark will split 10 points in half!

I'm sorry for the confusion. I should've said increasing order of population.

The city I was looking for was Albany. After the settlement of Jamestown Virginia, many settlers moved upwards, north on the Hudson, and settled in Albany. No points will be rewarded.

    Question 66.

Name the 4 largest cities in California. (Please include populations as of 2000.)

St. Augustine is the oldest US city, dating back to the year 1565.

    Definitely Florida.
