I'M SO LOST! HELP!

So 3ds Max wasn't for me and was too complex. Now I decided I just want to use BAT 4 Maxis, Gmax, Lot Editor, and what not, but how do I get those things? I need help. Instead of just writing stuff, can I just get a link to those things and a tutorial link?

I doubt you'll find gmax any easier than 3ds max. 3ds max has nearly the same interface only more options, better rendering, better materials, and is more powerful, but the learning curve for both programs is about the same.
