When I download something like plopomatic 9000, where do i put it to have it in the game?

I guess I should specify.... Where do i put it in the game files?

Anywhere, unless it requires road access, then in that case, next to a road.

Any downloaded mod/custom content should be placed in your My Documents/SimCity4/Plugins folder, the directory might be a little bit different, depending on where you installed SC4. Hope this helps. Cheers!
