Hi all,

I am using boot camp on apple macbook pro. I have been playing SC4 for ages on it. I had Windows XP but not I upgraded to Windows 7 home edition 32 bit. I reloded SC4 and restored all my games as well as all the downloads. The game is working very well. I have other games too and there's no problem. Except when I try to open Clinitol or other SC4 utilities none of of them now open. Ask me to see the .exe file for the report.

Am I missing any app or someting to do with my setting?

Hmmm.. Have you tried right clicking cleanitol, selecting properties, selecting the 'compatibility' tab and changing its compatibility settings to Windows XP Service Pack 3?

Try it, see if it works.

And failing that, make sure your environment includes the Python run time. Both of these are Python programs.

You probably need to download the required DLL files. There are many that were included with Windows XP but are no longer standard with Windows Vista or 7.

Check the readme file for each program that is not working carefully. Cleanitol and Terraformer both have links to the DLLs that you need to download.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to get Mapper working under Windows 7 - but you can use Terraformer for the same tasks. The fix requires moving your default directories. If you really want to try, you can find the information in the forums at SC4Devotion.com.

    Hi ScottFTL,

Thanks for the suggestions. Downloaded the dll files and both the programms are running well. Mapper... well I will give it a shot later.

    Thanks again. Cheers!
