Another idea for SimCity 5

    Hi, this is my first post on here so bear with me.

    Just something I've been thinking about for the (if ever) new SimCity.

    To make your role as mayor a little more realistic, the game could include planning applications.

    ie you zone an area for either res, com, or ind, and then developers would submit planning applications for what type of building or business they would like to build for your approval. This would then give you more control over what is built and where. You would also live or die by the decisions you make.

    The way things spring up at the mo are totally random, and quite often not what you had envisaged for that particular area.

    Obviously you would still be able to plop stuff such as parks, rail stations etc, but personally I'm not really a fan of plopping buildings, I much prefer to see them grow organically.

    Anyhoo, I don't know if this has been discussed here before, but would be interested to see what people think.
