I'm having trouble finding BATS that I've created. I'm in lot editor and I placed the sc4model under Landmarks. I think I have figured out the bat is to large for the landmark I'm using but I'm not for sure. This is where I need help the Width of the building is 84.19 and length is 64.47. What size lot is needed for this building to show up?

Even when I set it to fit the lot I still can't find the BAT. I figured out how to make it a prop, but even when I look for it in the game as a prop I can't find it. Please help.

    Hi Kenny

It is very nice transfer finished work so that everyone can enjoy it .. But here it is not just to show your 3D.

There are many other details in which you need to pay attention to share their lot with the community so that everyone can enjoy it without any problems and continue to download their work.

If you not visited the Omnibus go .. there is much information that will help a lot to do what you want.

Thanks for suggesting my tutorial(How to make a custom lot with the lot editor)!

But anyway, here are some things I suggest:

    >Put some kind of abbreviation before the name of the prop. Example J3_SubdivisionSign_Glendale. I put J3 in front of the name so it is easy to find.

    >Make sure you know the right measurements so you know how many tiles the lot should be.

    >If you make it a prop, go through the tabs and make sure it is shown on all zoom levels, and queried as main building, etc.

    >If it is a landmark, you have to open a landmark, then replace the building with yours. If you drag it into police station in the plugin manager, then you open a police station and replace the building. That's just how the lot editor works.

I hope this helps you, and those tutorials above should too. :)

Another thing you shouldn't forget is, when searching for a prop and you're not sure of the size of it, you better start of with a 20x20 lot (leftside below in LE). Making sure that it will show on the list, because if the "bat" model is too big for the lot you chose, it will not show up in that list. ;)
