Great pics, and the map is cool, too! I really like the Imperial Avenue and Overground Expressways pics.... those are such nice images.

Love the update, especially the region shots at the end. The parks encasing the CBD look awesome, I hope you intend to leave it like that rather than infill it when you run out of space.

I love the Chinatown picture too.

i was looking through many journals so i got a lot of insparation from them - thx again!

so here's a brief update:

the city currently got a major development in the north eastern sections - to close the gap between imperial ave and the highway orbiter.

downtown view in the morning

an overview of the imperial ave - a lot of important buildings are located at the end of this ave - like the momument, space needle, town hall and st. mary axe (still buggy though )

the busy Tramlink to Boulder peninsula

here's a plan of further developments - some of them already have taken place so stay tuned for the next update (suggestions welcome)

so today i'm going to give a little "insight" the city of portland - a so called "district spotlight"

so here i present the first "spotlight" on "Hells Kitchen"

the district is located northeast of the CBD with a dense, mostly low wealth population.

what makes it special its is architecture:

every road is leading to the "7 Sisters Circular"

thats the ringroad where the 7 Sky Scrapers are located

as u may have seen sky scrapers are in terms of the "city picutres" mostly prohibited - only in certain areas tall buildings are authorised

every road is leading to the "7 Sisters":

as mentioned its very dense populated -

every city has its district where the density is very hight

also "Chinatown" is located in "Hells Kitchen"
