SC4Terraformer in Windows 7 64-bit

Is it possible to run SC4Terraformer in Windows 7 64-bit? Some users suggested going into XP compatibility mode, but that does not work. I cannot do XP Mode either cause I have a lower version of 7.

I can run it. Windows 7 64-Bit. Try disabling desktop composition.

    That worked, gave me an error about DirectX 9 though. Downloading it right now. :)

    Another thing that has worked for me: The Read Me of SC4Terraformer says to download a file called MSCVP71.DLL and put it in c:\windows\system32.

    Instead of doing that; just put the file directly in the SC4Terraformer-folder. That should make the program work with Win7

    the screen just blinks before the pictures comes out and nothing happens

    Hello,

    I've tried everything you guys gave as hints to make terraformer work on win7 64 bit, but it still won't work for me. Can someone please help me? I want to finish my map of the Netherlands.

    Are you sure you have all of the DirectX 9 files listed in the "readme" installed?

    I've reinstalled directX 9, yes. Are there more files to be downloaded, perhaps?

    Edit: I've checked all the files necessary in the Readme, and i got following in my system32:

    - d3dx9_30.dll (but also ... , _27, _28, _29, _31, _32, _33, ...)

    - MSVCP71.DLL (In system32 and in the my documents\simcity4\SC4Terraformer map)

    - OLEAUT32.dll

    - USER32.dll

    - SHELL32.dll

    - ole32.dll

    - WINMM.dll

    - WSOCK32.dll

    - COMCTL32.dll

    - ADVAPI32.dll

    - msvcrt.dll

    - WS2_32.dll

    - GDI32.dll

    - KERNEL32.dll

    - MSVCP71.dll

    - comdlg32.dll

    - RPCRT4.dll

    Is there something more that i must have?

    You need only the DirectX 9 files listed in the readme.

    There is a topic in this forum that gives you the procedure to run the Terraforme in all the Windows OS's.
