Technical Support Needed

When I have nam in the plugins folder (installed), Simcity and my computer freeze when I press play in mayor mode. I have no clue what is going on. I have had this problem since march 2011.

I have Roseta. I have a late 2008 Intel imac with simcity 4 deluxe edition.

You've probably installed the Universal Binary Patch. This patch isn't that stable, and causes a fair few problems. The patch is only needed for upgrading to Lion, as SC4 works just as well with out this patch on older operating systems. I would suggest uninstalling the patch. I can't remember if there is an uninstaller, you might have to reinstall SC4 to get rid of it. If you don't want to reinstall SC4, then my other option is to remove the bridge controller file from the NAM folder. This also means you have to remove all other bridge files as well, and you will not be able to lay another non-maxis bridges unless you pause the game, save and quit, place the files back into the nam folder, reopen SC4, place bridges, don't unpause, save and quit, and then remove bridge controller again. I believe that method works, but the easiest and best way to fix your problems would be to get rid of the UB patch.
