Wow! I haven't posted anything here for a while.

@Mister Giggles, It is possible. How do i know? Ten minutes ago, my city's population passed the 20-million benchmark.

I'm absolutely serious about this. The 20-million benchmark has been reached!!!

Pic 1 - The population

Now, according the population counter in mayor mode, the city has 20 million inhabitants. But...

According to the Census Repository Facility, the total is 21 million. Which is extremely awkward because like last time, the actual total of the R$, R$$, and R$$$ on there is not even close. The total of those three is actually 40 million. So according to the facility, the city has both 20 million and 40 million inhabitants.

So... I'm just going to go with what the population counter on mayor mode says and go with 20 million people.

Surprisingly low-rise for such a high population

Have you gotten any riots yet? I'm assuming that you have, as your mayor rating is so low If you get any, will you post pics?

Some of those low-rises are indeed houses, but the red and green ones actually serve as parks. I downloaded TowerDude's rooftop homes. And I don't know why the mayor rating is still so low, since according to the surveys, everything about the city is perfect. I even got a mod that "bribes the citizens" so that I get a full mayor rating, but it didn't work. The good news is, there won't be any riots, because the bribing prevents them from doing so.

The bribing mod is actually interesting because you have to pay as much as 3,000,000 dollars when the population reaches around 20 million. But that also means you pay about 13 cents per citizen. It's amazing how the citizens are willing to pretend that the mayor is doing a good job for just 13 cents a month.

From the details, you are clearly suffering from counter overflow. At this point, I'd suggest you can't trust any of the counters.

Nice city

A city i created that has nearly 24 million sims. Its is incredibly unrealistic and ugly. I wanted to see how much i could fit into one city and this is what i got.
