three 3D cars models in progress

Hi everyone,

This is my first message in this forum. I am trying to do my firsts 3D creations for two days.

My models are cars, first a Renault laguna 3 :

Here is my question : hox to add skins to my models (windows, front and back lihts, tires)? I have made these ones with Gmax.

    Looks Good. Much better than I ever could. But there may be a polygon limit for automata, so you might want to look into that. I don't know for sure.

    Ok, thanks for advices.

    Model has 700 polygons.

    Here is an image which shows us the in game view done with Gmax.

    But how to convert my .gmax file into a .3ds file? Which software I should use?

    May I have the solution. I have converted laguna into a blender file, I have lost textures but model is still here. And blander can save model into a .3ds file. But i think I will also lose texture, right? I will try to find a free version of 3dsmax.

    you will lose the teture, but the texture doesn't matter until you go in to reader and inport the .3ds file, the convert the texture into .fsh format, then import that into he reader, then apply it to your model through reader, heres some tutorials-> Tutorials
