I wanted to make a mod something like this but couldn't find a tutorial on how to make your own automata. It would be great if somebody could explain how.

Good jobs so far Jwong!!! :thumb:

They look good, however I may think you might want to scale them down a bit. They look slightly over-sized. However I do like the idea. :)

hmm.. thanks for the feedback marsh. The scale i've used thus far is make the model 1m = 1 generic unit, then scale it up by 150%. This is may be a bit innacurrate so thanks for pointing tht out

For high wealth could you make a Ferrari or a Lotus?

Yep, i probably will decide to do that :)

Also: the cars for the replacement of the junkers have been decided (look at the first post)

These cars are looking nice. Just don't make them too shiny, they need to fit in with my tons of Mikeseith cars. It's nice to have another member creating innovative cars again. I can't wait till your next release of cars. :thumb:

If a mod adds new High wealth Cars, would It be compatible with your mod once you make the high weath cars?

If the mod you are talking about only adds additional cars, then it should be. Any mod that replaces automata won't be compatible with this one.

Thank, you! It's amazing to finally have some real car replacements in Simcity. The new junkers look great.44.gif

A Lotus Evora, and a Ferrari 458 or California.

Hey guys, just a small update: i'm currently modifying the sedans pack to place new instances on all models for those that requested them. Also, i may replace more than the junkers with hatchbacks.

thanks for the suggestions - they are being taken into consideration. If they don't appear straight away in these few packs, the may appear in future add-on packs so watch this space.

Another note: A new zip has been uploaded to accompany the other files such that now, you can choose whether you want to replace or add the automata models.
