Hello, I'm not very into the UDI part of SC4, but I think I can answer you're first question. To shift lanes on a road, I think you either have to drive off the road and drive back on to the other lane (with auto stick to lane off - in order to do this press the shift key, but when you start UDI it should automatically be off) or have the NAM and NAM Retexture and Cosmetic Mod downloaded. They add cul-de-sacs so you can turn at the end of a road. Links here and here. You can switch lanes on an avenue by having the stick to lanes on and turing where a road intersects the avenue, I think. And also on an ave. you can switch lanes (with stick to lanes on) by simply moving briefly left or right, I think. Like I said I don't know much about UDI, but I hope this helped! :)

Civilian cars like the Honda S2000 would only be drivable as MySim cars. Place a MySim in a R$$$ house (to make all cars available), then pick the S2000 as his car. Then click the steering wheel to drive it.

You can also drive any vehicle you want using the cheat udriveit. Once you press enter, your cursor changes and you just click a vehicle to drive it.
