Local effects of reward buildings

    Hello there!

I've been looking everywhere for a list containing the effects that reward buildings have. Some are obvious, like the statue of the mayor increasing the price of the ground for residentials around it. But what about the graveyard? Is it good or bad for residentials around? Do people want to live right next to a graveyard, or not, or are they indifferent about it? Or is it actualy good for small commercials, like flowershops? ;-) Same thing for all those other buildings, like the golf court, university, town hall, etcetera etcetera. I put those buildings somewhere, but except for the statue and the mayors house I didn't notice big differences in R, C, or I value just by looking and waiting.

Thanks in advance for your advice.

    EDIT:

Oh my goodness, I've been looking for a few days now, I swear, and finally I give up and post here, and all of a sudden I Google for something new, not 'simcity 4 building effect' or 'simcity 4 special building effect' but instead I searched for "simcity 4 reward building effect". I had just learned about the term "reward building".

Anyway, if you click the first link you find the answer in this faq: http://uk.faqs.ign.com/articles/387/387910p1.html

    Doh

Glad you found the answer you were looking for, with SC4 usually you just have to use logic, would you want to live by a graveyard? Probably not.

I don't, but the sims do! It has a positive YIMBY value of 40!

I have one more question though: Do the values add up? So if you build 9 small plaza's, do you have a total YIMBY value of 9x50=450, while if you build one big plaza you would only get a YIMBY of 80? That wouldn't make sense, so maybe the only thing that counts is the highest value?

These things are quite important, as now I often build a few parks relatively close to eachother, but if that's not necessary I could use more diversity (like planting trees) or waste some space for the fun of it, without lowering the value of the ground (too much).

And finally, as it's a good idea to have ALL information in one thread: The chart only shows effects for C and R, but not for I. Surely I is influenced for some parks? I now build some plaza's in my (clean) industrial area's to discourage production industry and encourage High-tech industry. Am I being silly?

Ofcourse these buildings are only a bit of extra help, more important things are good connections (roads etc) and civics, pollution and placement etcetera. Don't want to make it sound like I try to make people live next to a coal power plant just because there's a church and some fancy parks, lol.

Oooops, I guess I asked a bit too much! Sorry! I decided to just place less parks in general and make up for better public transport (especially subway). It seems to work. But this game is like chess, the more you know, the more you know you don't know. Questions...
