I apologize if this has been brought up, but since I was inactive for almost a year and started to play recently I thought I'd might ask if there has been any fix to this problem:

'Fraid you need to be more specific. Which plugins are you using? If they are PEGs, have a look over there.

No, I mean in general...ploppable things on water have some transperacy issues when zoomed out...

You can see when zoomed closer everything is normal (the parts beneath the water are hidden and only the parts above the water are visible).

I have never noticed that before. So you are saying that all things plopped on water have issues when you zoom out? It must just be your computer then because for me everything is fine and has always been fine.

Ok so not really ALL things tend to do that. Ships and harbours and probably some other things are the exception. Everybody that has seawalls (of certain type) should be aware of this problem...I remember reading somewhere 2 years ago that it was a glitch that could not be fixed, but I thought things might change in 2 years...so this is why I'm asking.

A similar thing has come up with other items that were created by BAT. It has something to do with how the items are made and appear at the farthest zooms. Perhaps it's the same issue. There's a thread at SC4Devotion that explains it, but the site isn't up yet. I raised the same issue regarding some underbridge pieces, and they were later updated with a fix. So maybe it is possible...
