Large City Tile Graphic Issues

I just have this small irritating problem. Here http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/857/greatervancouverregion1.png/. How do I get rid of those ugly lines at the bottom of the city tiles. Is it a mod or do I have to deal with it?

This is a common result of rendering maps at high resolutions. This has no effect on city operation. You won't see it if you enter one of the cities affected. To fix the region view, you can try lowering the resolution to something below 1600x1200, and then enter and re-save each city. If you return to your desired resolution and the problem returns, you can try to re-render the map at a lower resolution.

Glad to read this. I have the same problem and it's driving me nuts. Just removed and reinstalled the game. Deleted my plugin folder etc and still the problem is there. Am playing in 1920x1200. Now I finally have a solution. Thanks.
