How may I get snow and a map-size editor?

Hi all.

Watching some images from your cities, I've now the lust to see snow in my maps too, but only on the highest mountains. May you suggest me any mod for that?

Also, it is a lot of time that I would like to create a reproduction of my city on SC4 but the most annoying thing is how the game generates random maps. I would like to have only very big recangles to play with, also to reduce as much as I can the commuters loop. Is there any tool to pre-edit maps?

Thanks!

For the first one, I think you should use the meadowshire terrain mod and for the second one, go to documents, then Sim City 4, then regions, then click on the region name you're doing. Then go to configuration. I suggest you use this tutorial, link is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1214Cj0Juw.

You can use the Extra Cheats.dll and go Control+X to bring up the cheats box. Type in snow to get snow atop your mountains. Ploppable snow is available here. To get snow on all your terrain, you can download this. You need to register at SC4Devotion's LEX to download them.

Thanks both, but Zulu2065 has given me the answers that I was looking for :)

The only problem left is that I can't find the dependencies for the meadowshire terrain mod, even if it really looks so nice :) The links in the setup file send me to simtropolis page which won't load. What do I have to do now?

Everything is ok now :) The mod is really cute: the only thing that I don't like that much is the new grass.

It is too green and sounds a little bit "fake" but I've managed to customize it accordingly to my wishes :) Thanx
