BLS GA Farning lots. Growable or ploppable or both?

OK folks. The question is:

Do you prefer Growable or Ploppable lots for your farming cities.

If you select both, then this will delay the release of farm lots since it takes more work to make two lots than it does for one.

I'd like to see both lots made available. Personally, it gives me a lot more freedom with creating my cities and I'm sure others feel the same way. I like seeing custom lots sprout up from zoned areas, but there is also a satisfaction in just plopping the lot instead of waiting for it to get built in a zoned area. That's just my opinion on the situation.

BTW, all the CSX Farm & Rural lots look fantastic and I love seeing them in my little farm towns on the outskirts of my cities. Thanks for all the effort everyone at CSX puts forth to make the game more fun!

BOTH, even if takes more time I prefer them to kepp things flexible, when I am too lazy to go around ploping your lots I leave them to grow, when I want to give my cities an special look, the I use the plopables

I would like to see more plopables.

But both types would be good.

I guess I'm not important enough to vote, 26.gif but for myself I would like growable farms. 36.gif

If it takes more time to make plop farms, and this takes away from more growing farms, then forget the plops. 33.gif

Love those growing farms. 35.gif35.gif35.gif

Father Nature, of course you are important enough to vote6.gif Every member of this community is equally important. I understand the extra work in making ploppable farms - although it is usually my good friend GrampaAl who does that9.gif - but as the ploppable farms normally have different jobs I hope he will continue to help me to provide both types.

I downloaded this BLSGAFarmFieldsVol01-P11.zip and in the readme it says
Quote:: There are two sets of farm fields you may use.

1. The set with the -N extension will NOT appear on any menu, and therefore free up some space on your parks menu. This set is in it's own Subfolder named NO MENU.

2. The set with the -P extension WILL appear on your parks menu, and can be used to plop little 1x1 fields anywhere you wish in your city. This set is in it's own Subfolder named ParksMenu.

the problem is, not one file in it has a -N or a -P they all unzip to a /ParkMenu with subdirectories for each type of produce.
Where can i get the file with out the park menus? my Park menu takes 3 days to scroll to the end of it..
I love the lots you guys make. they really add a LOT to the game to make my Cities much better!
Many Thanks
*hugs*

I voted for growable only.

However, if lots are supplied as growable and ploppable, the key thing is that the option is given at the point of installation to choose which version you want.

That way people who only want the growable can avoid cluttering up their menus with unwanted ploppables and won't need to go through their plugins folder to delete the ploppable lots after they've been installed.

less time for 1 farm = more farms over same period of time ;)
and since not everyone has limitless amount of time to waste on modding/lotting SC4, growables only plz...

Can someone point me in the right direction for the missing prop in the picture?

Cheers...

And definitely growables for me. 48.gif

I enjoy having both but I voted for growable so as to save time in scrolling through my menus.  It takes forever to scroll through my parks menu and I would give up the option of plopping a farm to save time.  If I don't like the farm that grows I can always bulldoze it let it grow another.  10.gif

Well, I have to go with growable.  Some of the ploppable reward farms are nice to have but I prefer to layout my farmland to suit the terrain and growables give me more flexibility to do that.
