Coming out June 14th! Hype hype hype hype hype! 8)

Of note: the PC version will be using DRM and will require that you have a Steam account. Concerned parties may wish to buy the PS3 or Xbox 360 version instead.

(actually, personally, I'm probably going to be waiting a bit before I buy it. I don't want to be part of the mob rushing for it when it releases, and Topps 2011 Baseball Series 2 is coming out at almost exactly the same time, so I'll have something else to stay occupied with)

But yeah, Hail to the King, Baby!

I don't hate anything, just for the record. I may extremely dislike something (Hitler, Google, my gym teacher from last year) but I don't hate things. With one exception: Steam.

That is the sole reason why I'm getting it for the PS3. That and I prefer FPS on the PS3 rather then on a keyboard. But mostly because I despise Steam.

My friend pre-ordered it, I figure I'll try it out at his place before I get it. They'd better still have the Megadeth theme-song in it, that one video of it I saw had some generic metal thing in the background that bothered me just because it wasn't the Duke Nukem song.

Yes, those are my complaints about it. And I'm glad Duke wasn't waiting for Christmas to finally come out.

Yes, this is kitty.

1. I have no steam account and the only major reason for me getting steam (in the past) was resolved by the release of a special DVD edition that included what was only available on Steam for a long time so I will not be buying that game.

2. I really prefer sandbox and simulator games anyway so no big loss.

3. That was a really funny fake review.

Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

Words to live by:
"Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit; to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the one Spirit... But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually..." 1 Corinthians 4-11

"Do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." Matthew 6:34
"Do not judge so that you will not be judged. For in the way you judge, you will be judged; and by your standard of measure, it will be measured to you." Matthew 7:1-3

I believe I will wait and see if the gameplay merits interest because so far the promotional material and interviews is a quite a bit off-putting.

Very sexist it all is and it is making me a bit uncomfortable where I am normally, "Ready for action."

Duke Nukem Forever has gone gold.

This means that, for those who don't know what it means, development has been wound up, and the master copy of the game has been sent off to the factory ready to be burnt to retail discs.

...and of course, it means that it's coming ever closer to release.

If you pre-ordered Duke Nukem Forever from GameStop years ago and still have the receipt, they will still honor it.

Which is awesome in its own way.
