Rush Hour - Deluxe

Hello :)

I had some problems in reinstalling Rush Hour, so I buy Simcity 4 Deluxe. I would like to know if there are mayor differences from Rush Hour about mods. If, for example, I want to reinstall N.A.M. or SimMars, will everything be O.K.? :|

There is no mayor difference in simcity 4 deluxe and rush hour.:party:

Because simcity 4 rush hour and simcity 4 deluxe is the same.:read:

Rush hour is expansion pack for simcity 4.Rush hour need sim city 4 (original) to be installed:???:

And Deluxe edition contain combination of simcity 4(original) and simcity 4 Rush hour:???:

    This is true, I just would like to know if my addons, like SimMars, will affect negativity :???:

    (Yes I know, stupid question. But many of my "stupid questions" saved me from difficult situations :whatevs: )

    To the best of my knowledge no. They work with both.

    So I'm going to say no, it won't affect it adversely.

    To search for the ideal city today is useless. For all cities are different. Each one has its own spirit, its own problems, and its own pattern of life. As long as the city lives, these aspects continue to change. Thus to look for the ideal city is not only a waste of time but may be seriously detrimental. In fact, the concept is obsolete; there is no such thing.

    Speaking as one who has SC4 + Rush Hour on one computer and Deluxe on another, I can verify that both are identical. I often swap plugins and regions from one to another, and all works well. When I loaded Deluxe, I used the Plugins (which included NAM and SimMars) and Regions folder from the Rush Hour machine with no problems.

    I will suggest, if you haven't, be sure to get the game patches for Deluxe. Some have thought that Deluxe included the updates, but it doesn't. The same patches needed by Rush Hour are needed for Deluxe (EP1 and SC4Update4BAT) since they're the same.

    Exactly. The difference comes if you purchase the package from Steam. This version includes the patches.

    I don't know what everyone else does, but I keep my downloads archive, including the EA patches. If I have to reinstall, I have the patches on my hard disks. They are not very big, and once you have them, you don't need to hunt for them again.
