What are Simtropolis' "Simoleons"?

I've recently noticed Simoleons appearing on profiles in the Simtropolis community, and I couldn't find a specific thread for them.

So my questions are;

What are Simoleons?

What are they used for?

And how do we earn them?

I think Simoleons are just the "points" from ST6, but there purpose is yet to be uncovered, I suppose.

That's right. How to earn more points, all you have to do that I remember is to post in the forms like I do at least once, twice or three times a day, and comment on uploads for them to get higher points.

They are your "ST6 points". You will be able to trade, donate, invest, borrow and redeem your Simoleons (all for fun, of course). Will have more details soon.
