I've recently bought Sim City 4 for my mac computer, however, it crashes every time I did something. I E-Mailed Aspyr and EA, they told me it doesn't work on intel-based macs. (I wish somebody would've told me that before I bought the game) Anywho, I'm just buying the windows version and using Bootcamp to run it on my mac, and am wondering what version of windows would work best with Sim City 4 Deluxe, XP, Vista, 7, etc.

I would recommend using Window XP, though SC4 also works on Vista and 7. If SC4 doesn't run on Vista or 7 and switching back to XP is not an option, remember to set SC4's compatibility mode as XP SP2.

You can run XP on a windows 7 computer if you have the fancy version of Windows 7. You might be able to buy the XP option, not sure you can buy all the other ad-ons it seems

There is no sense in buying an obsolete OS such as XP, SC4 runs fine, if not better on Windows 7.

And if you don't want to dual boot using bootcamp, consider using wine. It runs just fine on OS/X and simply translates the windows calls on the fly to native mode.
