Rangers trade Matt tranor for cash.

Tell me again why we ever got rid of Gerald Laird?

Every single catcher the rangers replaced him with has been over hyped failure.

Or traded for prospects (Salty)

If you go back far enough the mistake started with losing Ivan (Pudge) Rodriguez.

Say what you will about the Bucs' losing streak but the Cubbies went how many years without a pennant? Well over 18 I can tell you.

But today's game was what I have become a little more accustomed to. Ie: blowing a 3-0 lead in the eighth inning. Boy does Pittsburgh need some pitching!

I wasn't planning on it, but I ended up at a Blue Jays game while I was in Toronto this past weekend. So, cross another stadium off the list. I'm at 10 out of 30 now.

That's cool, Duke. I wanted to take a road trip this year and hit several parks but with gas prices the way they are I have changed my mind.

Morton looked pretty good on the mound last night. A tad wild still but I think he may come around and be Pittsburgh's ace.

3-1! I'm looking forward to Opening Day In Pittsburgh on Thursday.

That's really awesome indeed! I've made it a goal to try and visit as many MLB stadiums as I could. So far I've been to Yankee Stadium, the old Shea Stadium, Fenway, and Camden Yards.

BTW, O's are good for the first time a long time; I'm so excited.

    ^ First time since 1997

With the Rangers victory, and some MLB history apporching i'd like to point out a few things.

Rangers are now 5-0 First time since 1996

O's are 4-0 Team record is 5-0 set in 1970 in wich they won the WS, also the last World Series in which all games were played in the afternoon. (Being 12:00 PM - 4:00 Pm)

Anyone wanna guess the MLB record?

That would be 21-0 set by the 1880 White Sox!

Haha such an awesome hobby to have isn't it! I love going to Camden Yards, I've been there twice to see the Orioles play (one against the Yankees [who I was clearly rooting for ;)] and one against the Toronto Blue Jays). It's one of my favorite stadiums I've been to because of hows it kept and the stadium as a whole is really nice and has an amazing view from pretty much anywhere. My family of 4 got into the latter game for only $20, $5 a seat! That was an awesome game, and it was really friendly to the wallet! Not typical of a Yankees game. :meh:

^ I decited to say it cause you would have never got it :P

Rays just lost, now 0-5, Manny diden't start he has just 1 hit so far looks like they might give up on him soon.

    Red Sox are 0-4

    Astros are 0-4

This is insane i've never seen anything like it.

I wonder if any will chase the 1899 Clevland Spiders for worst mlb record in history.

Yankees just need to keep playing the Red Sox and Bluejays keep playing the Rays and the Orioles can capture the division for the first time since 1997. :P

Haha, sounds great! But, wow 5 bucks per seat!?! That's what you pay for a minor league ticket here! :O

I am wanting to go to Camden Yards more and more.....I always loved the Harbor in Baltimore....it's such a nice area, and has almost everything. :P

Do you to many Yankees games or is just a special occasion deal?

I love the Inner Harbor as well, the whole area around Camden Yards is really nice and historical!

I've actually only made it out to one game since the new Yankee Stadium. I had amazing seats but I want to try and make it more of a habit to go!

I am jealous of all of you who live close to MLB cities. I grew up in the Canadian prairies, a good 6 or so hour (car + plane) commute to the nearest MLB team. I have only been to one MLB game, but I'm very happy to say that it was at Fenway Park. Fantastic experience, I loved everything about it. I only wish I can go back there, but that seems unlikely as I'm currently on the wrong side of the planet.

Yes, it is! I am not sure how much of Baltimore you've been around, but when I lived there, Little Italy had the best Italian food I've ever had! :) And of course, you gotta have your crabcakes and your Natty Boh. :P

Hope you can get a hold of some more tickets, it must be fun!! :D

Well the reds winnging streak has ended and the Astros losing streak also a few more remain.

Rays move to 0-6 (Worst in team history)

Red Sox move to 0-6 (Worst since they started 0-8 in 1945)

And Texas is the only remaining unbeaten team.

Also Jeter passed Roger Hornsby today and now has 2,931 hits, next up We Willie Keeler (2,932), Barry Bonds (2935) and Frank Roberson (2,943).

    Barry Bonds (2935*)

    Fixed.

Also, it's Rogers Hornsby and Frank Robinson.

I am quite amused at the hole the Sawx are in but it is too early in the season for that to really mean anything. Though, the Yanks play them tomorrow. Shall they make it at least to 0-9? :D One can dream!

I'm really hoping the Yankees beat up the Red Sox this weekend. It is amusing to me to see the Sox fall so hard the beginning of the season, however knowing how strong their team is, I'm sure they'll bounce back high in the AL East. Damn shame though. :P

Amen. But either way, it's baseball time again!

7-1 Rockies over Bucs today. I got sunburn.
