All of a sudden, my game won't load.

I need your help. 

Yesterday, was playing SimCity 4 Deluxe...working just fine.  Wen't to work come back today to click on the icon, and it WONT LOAD!  It turns my scren black and I see a glimps of the EA logo, and then it crashes back to the desktop?  What the heck is going on here?

I had a similar problem a few months back, I uninstalled the game completely and reinstalled .....that solved it for me.

I've tried this too. But it still won't work. I don't know if it's because I had to use a serial number that I found online because I don't have my booklet anymore or what?

I'm assuming you have disk 2 in your CD drive. Would that be a correct assumption ?

Yes, Disk two is in there. I totally don't understand this at all.

You might try rebooting your computer and IMMEDIATELY trying to start SC4 first thing.. I have seen Flash run background things which cause the thing you are describing.. SC4 can be sensitive to things running in the background..

Also run dxdiag from your run box, and check to make sure your sound system is OK.
