Installing NAM has done nothing to the capacity of transit networks (at least)

    Hullooo 4.gif

I've got a city of around 150,000 sims, elevated rail station around about every 12 tiles, bus stop in between two subway/lev rail stations, and three rail stations which are mainly used for moving to the city which I initially built up as an industrial city, all three have a elevated rail station and a bus stop next to them (like an interchange kinda thing).

Now here's the problem... virtually everythings over capacity. Some stations in insanley built up areas are operating at 500% capacity. I selected the NAM simulator to be medium when I installed it. All subway/elevated rail/rail stations have a capacity of 2000 sims still and bus stops have 1,000. Monorail claims to be the same when I hover over it in the menus. The mod has done nothing to affect capacity (on transit at least). It appears to be using the classic settings. I tried using the simulator configuration tool to correct this, it didn't work despite it claiming it had sucessfully saved the files. I understand the transition may be gradual when this is done, but we are now around 60 years on and nothing's happened.

I think pathfinding however and the commute time may have been altered. In the last city I had of this size commutes were long and lasted around 90 minutes, in this case all are short and last on average 35mins.

The improved pathfinding, better capacity, and less abandonment was the reason I installed NAM. The better capacity being the most important of the reasons.

Sooo yeah, all help with this appreciated.... 4.gif

The NAM (Network Addon Mod) Simulator only effects the avenues, roads, streets, etc, you will have to find and download stations that come with a higher capacity than your existing ones.

... I'll do a bit of looking and come back and edit this post with some higher capacity stations that are available on the STEX

    EDIT:

Roadtop Mass Transit or RTMT stations should cover most of your city wants
