GLR/ T-RAM Issues

I have downloaded the most recent NAM (Jun. 2010) and the NAM Essentials (I believe Jan. 09) and the NAM Draggible GLR.

I have all of the icons in the misc. transportation menu; however, the only one with puzzle pieces available is the main GLR which has the one-by-one puzzle pieces for straight, turns, crossings, etc. The draggable GLR doesn't work- I have watched all the tutorials available knowing that there is a starter piece and then you use the elevated rail to drag. The starter piece is not existant, its just a blank highlighted block. Even pressing tab does nothing. The same problem exists for all other icons affilated with T-RAM/ GLR such as for T-RAM in road, ave., etc.

Am I missing some form of dependancy or modd that I have overlooked? I have tried re-installing all the NAM files and still no luck.

Thanks for your time!

I thought the draggable GLR was part of the latest NAM. Do you have the Rush Hour Expansion Pack? The NAM won't work without it.

Yes, I got the deluxe edition. All other NAM tools work except for the GLR and T-RAM- oh and the Flexible Underpass tools!

If you installed an older NAM Essentials file and maybe an even older GLR file over the most current version of the NAM, you will break it. It would be best to delete the entire NAM folder and just install the latest NAM. You don't need to install the NAM Essentials right now, as they are not newer as the NAM itself.

Hmm... that could the problem. I will try that out. Thanks for the tip! I first installed NAM back in Januaray (the latest then) and had serious issues with it. I then uninstalled it; however, I think some of the files remained. After installing the newest NAM I haven't had problems except with the GLR- perhaps I may have on accident had some of those remaining files not deleted. Will let you know if that worked or not- crossing my fingers that it does!

I tried uninstalling and deleting the entire NAM folder, no luck, same issue. I will keep playing around with it and seeing if I can figure it out. If there are any more suggestions I'd gladly appreciate it!

It sounds to me like you have a conflicting file somewhere in your Plugins that is interfering with the current NAM installation . . . likely pieces of an old NAM or some other incompatible files.  Your description seems to match with the proverbial "red arrow bug"--see NAM FAQ Item #1 for more details.

Hey everyone. Sorry I haven't got back to this. Been busy with things. I looked over the NAM FAQ and tried out the Cleanitol program on this issue and worked like a charm! Thanks again for the suggestions, couldn't have done it without them!
