Hello!

Do somebody play the game under Parallels and Win XP ? If I can't make the game work correctly maybe I'll use Parallel latest version ( 6 ) . I'm not gonna buy a PC and bootcamp isn't my option. Well, I just need to know if the game works as fine as the native Windows one, if so, please tell me how it basically work, how much ram and space do the ''partition'' need in order to run SC4?

Thanks a lot!

I tried it a while ago, but couldn't get it to work properly under Parallels. CrossOver Games works better, but it's still not perfect.

    Thanks for answering...

I've finally installed a perfect Boot Camp (XP Pro) and it runs smoothly n sweet, I think it was the best I could rather do.

    Cheers!

I'm doing the same thing. Are you running it with windows 7 or something earlier? Some features dont work very well such as the keyboard shortcuts and some farms show up black in region view, are you having any of these problems?

    Hi!

Do the Boot Camp and kick out all your Mac problems. I've installed BC V.3.0 (Snow Leopard) with Win XP Pro. Gaming become perfect, along with the good hardware of the Macbook Pros, SC4 just flies. No freezing, textures issues or poor effects, I've been playing it for about 2 weeks, downloading many plugins and all goes perfect. I don't know anything about Win 7, but XP is far more compatible. (I'm not rather interested in Windows, I just made it for Simcity)

"some farms show up black in region view, are you having any of these problems?"

No problems at all, it must be the SO (WIn 7), your hard or some options. Boot Camp runs Windows as native, so it has nothing to do with it.

Keyboard shorcuts work all the same, check this out:

I've discovered others, to turn around buildings press ''fn'' key plus any direction arrow.

    Cheers!
