We may be in for some serious snow. NOAA says 5-9 inches today with a possibility of 8-12 additional inches tonight. Also predicting wind gusts up to 60 mph tonight, and a blizzard warning is in effect. If the forecast is accurate, a power outage at my house is likely, so don't be surprised if I disappear later.

We just got a ton of snow last night. Not sure how much (didn't feel like measuring ) but it was a lot. Taller then my puppies, but their Pomerainians, so that doesn't say much. How about I just make a guess at 5-9 inches.

Where I live the last time we got snow was a decade ago. Instead of a Snowy christmas, we got a Rainy christmas. Boy it rained hard last night .

If you rasied Fresno's elevation from 370(airport area) to about 2100 ft, you got snow. But that isn't possible. The only thing that delays school buses and casue problems is not snow but fog.
