SC4 ?

Hello,
            This is my first attempt at SC since the Super Nintendo version back in the early 90's  . Needless to say it has changed ALOT, and I am now hooked again!!

I have the basic SC4 and my question for seasoned players is, do I need the SC4 Deluxe in order to download these awesome buildings and props and such or can it be done on the SC4 basic version that I have?

almost all plugins require Deluxe/Rush Hour to work. Plus Rush Hour adds so much to the game by itself, it's definitely something that you want. Good luck!

build your maps with simcity 4 vanilla and then install deluxe when you get it.... until then don't download anything for the game

you will have more fine-tuning tools and the ability to download once you get deluxe edition or rush-hour installed

vanilla game isn't that bad though
