Plugins folder

Hello fellows,

My computer has been a long without a backup and windows reinstall, so I'm thinking about reinstall windows , also because my HD is shared in 2 parts( like C: and D: in the same HD), so I wanna keep only one single part , but I was wondering if after installing Windows and SC4 a simple copy and paste of current plugins folder will apply all the plugins correctly, or if I need to install one by one again, what would be boring as hell, and actually I haven't all the plugins I've downloaded. I was thinking because there are some plugins that are installed by .exe files, so my doubt  is about those plugins, like bsc, simgoober, etc. So I was thinking about save the plugins folder and my region in another HD I have and after installing windows and SC4RH paste them and their respective folders, does it work? I don't wanna lose all my work, so if it doesn't work I'll let it go.

Yes, after reinstalling the game, just copy/paste your backup copies of the current plugins and regions folders to replace the new ones. It should work fine. Be sure to check the Program Files/SC4/Plugins folder. Could be something there. And it doesn't matter if the plugins were installed using an exe since those just create folders in the plugins.
