If I install today - What's in it?

    Hi,

    I looked quickly but couldn't find an answer in the FAQ.

    I bought Cities XL back when it launched and I stopped playing from the lack of content.

    If I install the exact same thing (digital download on steam) and install all the patch, what will be different than when I bought it?

    Will there be buses? Trains?  Or it's the same game and I need to buy add-ons to use these things?

    Buses come with the latest patch.

    Ocram's Razor: Though "more things shouldn't be used than are necessary," they're just too fun to pass up! Expect many verbose arguments from me. I will try to write abstracts before or short summaries after from now on.

    Well, it's difficult to answer your question, because I don't know what you expect to find in the game..... Like likeseattle said, there are busses in this version, but no trains. Metro and elevated rail will come in CXL 2011, but it looks like we'll have to wait for freight trains, for example. Also, it's still unclear how (and if) Focus Home will proceed with the development of the game, and what additional features they plan to include for free (as patches), and what to sell as add-ons.
