Can we change the looks of people?

Has anyone tried? Tell me how far you got or if you think it is or isn't possible.

I noticed my avatar character made in the studio is .sgbin format, so I unpacked 'all_sgbin.pak' and found a folder called 'character' inside. There are 101 sgbin files here, plus two GEM folders. But are these the actual people who walk around my cities or is this something else?

I'm wondering how or if I can swap out the cartoon characters with more realistic ones made in the avatar studio. Thanks!

The avatar editor's original purpose was for the old CXL Beta site and the not-as-old CXL PO site...

They wont walk around your city. There was a mode called "Avatar mode" on the menu tab, but i think it was removed the same time the PO was removed. Anyway, theres a box in the upper middle. That was where the avatar would have gone.

And even if you did find out how to replace the characters, they would need to be coded in a way where they would walk and not just walk through buildings, in the ocean etc.

Yeah I played Planet Offer and remember that. It sounds pretty hard to change so I think I'll just leave it alone then. Thanks!
