Welcome to the region of Simtropolis!

You have now entered a realm where you and your fellow Simtropians are in command of what could very well be the greatest metropolitain area ever founded!

Discovered in mid-2010 by Admiral Pherchristo Buscolum of the Comcast Air Force, planet Dell hosts the continent of Chrome, of which "Simtropolis" is located. You and your fellow Simptropians are being left off to explore the Simptropolis region of Buscolum's newfound planet and see what you can develope under the lax oversight of a dictator known only as Dirk. Any resources you need may be ordered through Comcast, the greatest interstellar empire in the universe, the masters of travel and tech, the superior adversary to the Verizon empire which has been known to sabotage Comcast settlements from time to time in the hopes of slowing our interstellar travel and freight. This planetary outpost is crucial is bringing greater connectivity in the universe. However, the planet Dell is devoid of any life or geographical features or bodies of water. But the soil is perplexingly fertile, there is an abundance of pure groundwater, the weather is always mild, and the air is great. Your goal is to see if you can settle this area and create as little negative impact as you can to what few pristine resources do exist. This is not only for the good of the empire, but for the good of all people. Good luck.

Rules & Guidelines

*Most rules and guidelines will appear as the CJ progresses, this is just a few of the currently active rules*

- Cheat codes will not be used except to unlock "reward" lots

- Cheat lots will be used sparingly and you will be informed of their use (all cities will start with $4.5billion from a money park which is immediately demolished)

- Mods are being used, and will be listed as necessary

- Mayors currently control only taxes and whether or not a neighboring city may be founded, but may receive additional power in the future

- Mayors will be immediately removed from office when their rating drops below neutral or may be removed if they are not actively engaged in the CJ

Beginings

Our ship is on a heading for Dell! We must land in Sector 16 which has been sectioned off into 16A, 16B, 16C, and 16D. We must immediately elect a mayor to chose a landing location and give our settlement a name. Due to rapid approach, hopeful candidates must register for election by 9AM EST of August 12th 2010, giving us about 15 hours before elections must begin.

Notes

This CJ's start up will likely be slow for the first couple days, but I urge anyone who wishes to participate to be active. I also ask that as things progress, be as specific and detailed as possible! This may be a large task to organize but you, collectively, control the entire fate of this CJ, and I can only continue with as much help from each and every one of you as possible! This will be a great test of our potential coordination. Lets see what we can do!

zahrul3 - There's nothing to takes pics of... yet! I'm waiting on all of you guys to step in!

Due to a fuel problem (psst, I'm really waiting for people to volunteer to be mayor and tell me where to land) we will be stopping at one of the sister planets of Hewlett - Packard for repairs and refueling. In the mean time, we now have more time for you to all enter to be in the elections!

EDIT: Clearly no interest. I was expecting you guys to be all over this!  So... this project is dead. And was never even alive. Lol
