This guide is intended for any of the RHW MaxisHighway based bridges, such as the RHW-4 Compact Suspension bridge and upcoming wider RHW bridges by ch0c0.

1. Once you have drawn your bridge using the MAXIS GROUND HIGHWAY TOOL, you should have something similar to this:

2. Demolish all but 1 tile of its length.

3. Draw RHW from the stub. The stub should appear as a standard stretch of RHW.

4. Repeat for other side

5. Place RHW starters

Alternately, follow the tutorial to step 2 then draw existing RHW into it.

For the wider RHW networks, the process is mainly the same.

I don't know what to put here anymore.

Just downloaded - excellent. I am looking forward to more bridges. Is it possible to use the same Maxis GroundHighway technique to create bridges for RHW-6 or 8?

Yes . . . in fact, choco did a few for the RHW-8S and 10 that will likely see release soon.  The RHW-6 networks (both S and C) are a little trickier due to how they are situated--there's been some experimentation on that end, however.

A similar technique will probably be used once we get to the point of making bridges for the 2-tile NWM networks as well.

OK, so I unzipped the folder to where it is supposed to be, however the bridge does not show up as an option when I use the ground highway to build the RHW bridge... what am I doing wrong?

Edit: Just to eliminate the obvious: yes I do have the latest NAM and RHW versions installed. I also have holedigger/raiser lots.

OK, so I've played around with it extensively and still can't get it to work. The bridge just won't show up as an option no matter how large or small the lake or river is. I've tried with and without slope mods, tried raising the terrain... nothing seems to work. I must be doing something wrong but haven't figured it out yet.

Any more ideas?

Oh... just noticed I never got back to this.

Not sure how many folks are aware of this, but to get the additional bridges to work correctly it is necessary to place the NetworkAddonMod_Bridges_Plugin_Controller.dat file found in the main NAM directory in a sub directory like "zzBridge Controller" or similar, so that it loads LAST. Otherwise the additional bridges won't show up.

Are you gonna come out with a RHW-6C or 6S? I normally perferr the 6S and I am hoping for wider versions of the Elevated RHW... Also in 6C or 6S, maybe even in 8.

BTW, I'll give a try at this.
