NAM install issue?

I searched, found zero on this. I removed my NAM folder and ran the installer for NAM and the one for essentials or whaterver. I did so beacuse RAM was not working right. So I wanted to be sure I had the latest. Upon loading a city I found random seciontion of road missing. Not only that, but the building saw no road connectivity. However, stop light displayed on grass. And when going to zone view in maps, bilboard and other random parts remained. I ran the game a few times with the same results. I even accidentaly saved a game in this state - which was not a bad thing. Beacuse I move the NAM folder I had back into the plugins and took out the new install. Everything went back to normal. Zone view looke difne and the raod that were gone, even after saving, were back. So before I go playing musical chairs with plugins, does anyone have an idea on this one? Thanks much. Oh - SC4 Deluxe.

A fairly common installation issue, actually--Item #6 of the NAM FAQ ("6. After installing the latest NAM, why are there missing textures at my Road intersections?") covers it.

It sounds like you had the Road Turning Lanes Plugin installed previously, but when you reinstalled, you forgot to check the box to install it again.  It is not installed by default, and you have to select it from the install options.  The "blank spots" are where you had Road Turning Lanes and their related intersections.

Reinstall the Road Turning Lanes Plugin and the roads should show up.  Sometimes, if you've saved the game after noticing the missing textures, you may have to rebuild the intersections.
